Abstract:In this article, is analysed relationship between GDP and investments and proven on the basis of econometric models. Model of GDP determination is built on the basis of Solow model with the help of Cobb- Douglas production function. Econometric models for calculating the effectiveness of attracting more investment to production in Uzbek economy are analyzed using dynamic econometric models constructed using Solow model.

Abstract: Green banking refers to the banking business conducted in such areas and in such a manner that helps the overall reduction of external carbon emission and internal carbon footprint. To aid the reduction of external carbon emission and reduce global warming,, banks should finance green technology and pollution reducing projects. Change is the need of this hour although, banking is never considered a polluting industry, the present scale of banking operations have considerably increased the carbon footprint of banks due to their massive use of energy.........

Abstract: This paper examines the historical background of the establishment of the group of twenty also known as G-20 countries, criteria for membership, reasons why most emerging/developing countries especially Nigeria could not make the list of G-20. The prospects of Nigeria meeting the unclear requirements of membership of the group in future were also looked into. The paper concluded that some of the developing countries especially Nigeria has the potential to qualify for membership of G-20 and as such recommended that Nigerian leaders should take proactive steps to give the kind of leadership............

Abstract: The study examines the effect of instrument of control on public accountability in Ebonyi State Local Government Councils. The study adopted the cross-sectional survey design and administered questionnaire on 374 senior staff of the 13 Local Government Councils in Ebonyi State. The Binary Logit Regression technique was employed in the analysis of data. The result shows a significant effect of instrument of control on the public accountability in Ebonyi State Local Government Councils. The study hence recommends that cogent efforts should be made to review laws, rules and regulations concerning Local Government accounting and financial management. This will help in increasing the effectiveness of the instrument of controls in the Local Government Councils.

Abstract: It is a fact that insurance (ta'mîn) has become one of products of financial institution promising benefit guarantee for human. Nevertheless presence of insurance has provoked debate among contemporary Muslim scholars related to its validity. Some of them believe that insurance is absolutely forbidden due to the element of gambling and others allow it because there is benefit (al-maslahah). Indonesian Ulama Council (IUC) is a clerical institution that allows insurance products through an approach of hybrid contract. Through this article, the author will reveal whether IUC has legalized gambling through implementation hybrid contract (al-'uqûd al-murakkabah) in the formation of insurance products.

Abstract: Commercial banks have constantly reported deteriorating asset quality due to non-performing and defaulting loans.Losses turn from outright default due to inability or unwillingness of customers or counterparties to meet commitment in most banking institutions. The purpose of the study was to identify various causes and the debilitating repercussions of poor credit risk management, various credit appraisal techniques, and implementation of these techniques in Zimbabwean commercial banks.It also sought to identify causes of deteriorating asset quality as well as their effectiveness, paying particular attention to asset quality.The researchers employed an exploratory researchdesign. Results indicated that concentration risk was evenly spread across all sectors stipulated by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe hence the concentration risk of the banking institutions is fairly low. However, the concentration risk ratio in relation to public sector lending and private sector lending was concluded to be very high and most banks' loans are heavily weighted towards the public economic sector..............
